Seed Ball Festival at Rojavanam International School: A Green Initiative.
Rojavanam International School celebrated its Seed Ball Festival, an event dedicated to environmental awareness. This unique festival brought students, teachers, and parents together to take a step toward a greener future.
The festival began with an introduction to the concept of seed balls, which are small, biodegradable packets of seeds, soil, and clay. These balls are designed to be thrown into barren areas, where they can grow into plants without the need for direct planting.
The activity was not only educational but also allowed students to experience the joy of hands-on learning and teamwork. More than 800 students were participated and the event was a grand success, students collectively creating an impressive total of around 1 lakh seed balls.
